HALLIE HOHBEIN – PRESIDENT

Hallie Hohbein leads Initialize to succeed in their mission. She mostly leads meetings, finds new opportunities for the club, and generally keeps the club working smoothly. She has also worked extensively with the after school robotics program. However, you might also see her cocooned in a pile of blankets reading a book. DANA HOPPE – PRIMARY PROGRAMMER

Dana Hoppe looks over all the initiatives and conveys their needs, questions, and progress to the President. He also leads the meetings in the absence of the President. He worked as a mentor for the After-School Robotics Program and has works extensively with the Broader Consideration of Technology initiative. He is currently involved in research supporting the development of creative coding curriculum. If you ever want to talk philosophy while painting a sunset, he’s the guy to talk to. RAHUL PRAJAPATI – TREASURER

MICKEY TRAN – K-12TH EDUCATION OUTREACH CHAIR

Mickey Tran coordinates and oversees education initiatives in and around Lincoln. She also provides support to new education initiatives. Mickey enjoys working out, eating out at authentic restaurants, and binge-watching Netflix shows during homework deadlines. If she’s not in class, she’s in Avery 12. RUBEN AGUILAR – EVENTS CHAIR

As Events Chair, Ruben Aguilar helps coordinate logistic for Initialize events; he is the Founder of Coding and Coffee at Lincoln High and The BAY. As a double Computer Science and Finance major, Ruben spends most of his time studying at the new College of Business or The Mill at Telegraph. JAMES ERICKSON – DEV TEAM COORDINATOR

As dev team chair, James is in charge of organizing the development teams and putting together projects for the dev teams. If you have an idea and it benefits the community, he’s interested! SHREEYA VAITLA – PUBLIC RELATIONS CHAIR

Shreeya, as Public Relations Chair, is responsible for publicity materials, organizing and maintaining our social media. She has been helping with our rebranding and also creates posters for our events. Shreeya enjoys dancing and binge-watching shows. Ethan Bütt – Webmaster

As webmaster, Ethan Bütt is responsible for the design and maintenance of the Initialize website (it’s actually the site you are on right now). He updates all website-related materials and graphics with the latest information. It is true that website maintenance is an all-consuming and intensive activity that takes up every second of every day for Ethan; however, in those extremely rare moments when he is not updating the website, Ethan could be seen listening to music, programming on his MacBook, and drinking a Starbucks hot chocolate.
